1. The client agrees to provide full and honest information to Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding about their dog/s during the booking procedures. Behaviour which may negatively impact our family, our dog or those dogs boarding, our home/neighbours will not be accepted. These include but are not limited to excessive barking, anti-social behaviour, aggression towards any humans or animals, toileting in the home, separation anxiety, howling, barking, destructive behaviour.

2. The emergency contact must be nominated and agree to being the client’s emergency contact. They will be asked to take over care for the dog(s) in the event of an emergency. Ie; an evacuation at our home in the event of a fire or such or if your dog displays behaviour (see above) which meant they can no longer be cared for at Teeny Tiny Toy. The client agrees that if their pet attacks another animal or person, this results in injury to that animal or person, they will be responsible for any expense incurred as a result. This includes payment of veterinary fees incurred as a result of injuries to another animal caused by their dog. The dog will be removed with immediate effect and placed with the emergency contact. Refunds will NOT be issued if there are cases of aggression issues or damage caused inside the boarding home.

3. Clients agree to an introductory meeting to allow us to meet the dog(s) and discuss aspects of care. This meeting will usually take place in my home by arrangement and is provided free of charge. In cases of emergency bookings, a short introductory meeting can take place at the time of drop off however, the emergency contact must be available if the dog does not settle after the owner has left.

4. The owner agrees they will be handing over their dog(s) to Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding in good health. Any current illnesses or ailments MUST be disclosed and any medication for such ailments will be supplied and detailed on the Medication Permission form. If any illness appears or has not been disclosed upon drop off and appears to be or is diagnosed as contagious, the emergency contact will be asked to collect the dog with immediate effect. A dog can only be returned to Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding for the remainder of the booking if their vet has deemed any illness as no threat to ourselves or other dogs and this must be in made in writing from the vet.

5. All dates and times for dropping off and collection of dogs are treated as appointments and must be followed. Please remember this is my business but also my home and if you arrive early, please wait until the agreed time to knock as dogs may be feeding or I may be attending to other customers. Please text me when you have parked up so I can safely place the dogs into the kitchen with the safety gate. If you are running more than 30 minutes late, Teeny Tiny Toy take no responsibility for being unavailable to receive your dog or for you to collect your dog. If you are unavoidably delayed by more than fifteen minutes, you must contact us before the arranged time to arrange another suitable time for drop off or collection. Please only call or text to arrange and avoid WhatsApp.

6. For new customers, once the introductory meeting is successful a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the service is to be paid to confirm the booking (Via Bank Transfer or Cash) and the remaining amount either before, or at the time of drop off. The client understands they may forfeit their booking space if the deposit is not paid within 48 hours of the introduction. After the first booking, any future payment is to be made within 24 hours of the booking start date. Emergency bookings are to be paid in full either before or at the time of drop off.

7. If the booking is cancelled or the owner fails to attend on the agreed date 14 days before the commencement of the check-in date, the deposit will be non-refundable Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding does not charge an extra administration fee for cancelled bookings. Cancellations must be made in writing by email, or text. If a deposit is made, a full refund will only be given in the event of the dog's death or as a result of serious illness or injury, vets written confirmation will be required.

8. All food and treats are to be supplied by the owner. Their favourite bed from home is also recommend to help reduce their anxiety and to help them settle quicker.

9. The client agrees that their dog(s) will come into contact with other dogs, both in and outside of Teeny Tiny Toy’s premises. By signing these terms and conditions you are agreeing to your dog(s) sharing supervised socialisation times with dogs from other households. You are also consenting to your dog(s) sharing unsupervised time during the day and at night with each other. If this is something you are opposed to, please state it in the client details form and arrangements can be made to separate dogs however, please bear in mind that there will only be a maximum of 3 dogs on the premises.

10. The client agrees that if insufficient food or other supplies are provided to cover their pet’s stay, the cost of purchasing additional items will be payable on the collection of their dog(s). The client will inform their veterinarian that Teeny Tiny Toy will be caring for their pets while they are away and if possible arrange for card details to be held so that emergency payments can be made. Any veterinary fees that are incurred for your pets and have been paid by Teeny Tiny Toy must be reimbursed immediately on your return. Your dog(s) medical history and treatment must be made available in the event of illness or injury. If your dog shows signs of disease or illness he/she will be isolated from the other dogs until we have advice from the vet. We will inform our licencing team of any death on the premises and arrangements for your dog’s body to be stored at the vet's until you return. You are responsible for all vet bills. If a dog was to escape, the local warden would be contacted immediately alongside the owners and emergency contact.

11. Unless otherwise agreed, your dog(s) will be exercised on a harness or collar and a lead. I do not offer OFF LEAD exercise outside of the home due to the size of Teeny Tiny Toy Dogs and the unpredictability of OTHER dogs! However, Teeny Tiny Toy Dogs will be offered the opportunity to play chase in the home garden, off lead to burn off some extra energy.

12. In the event of a serious accident or illness in our family, the client accepts that alternative emergency cover will be arranged for their dog(s). This will be done with the involvement of the client’s emergency contact(s) wherever possible, and as far as possible would be within the boarding provision of Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding.

13. In the event of any damage being caused to our home, garden or possessions, all costs will be charged to the owner. Receipts will be provided.

14. All clients have given their permission that their dogs can be fed, slept and live together with my children and other dogs in my care and other dogs may vary from puppies to seniors.

15. All dogs must be wormed and treated for fleas/ticks before being placed with Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding and this is the client's responsibility. Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding reserves the right to decline to accept any animal that arrives for boarding looking visibly unwell.

16. Any dog who is not collected within two days of the agreed collection date, and where there has been no contact from the client or their emergency contact will be assumed abandoned and any necessary provisions made.

17. Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding will carry out all agreed services in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client waives and relinquishes any claims against Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding, except those arising from gross negligence or misconduct on the part of Teeny Tiny Toy.

18. The client confirms that their dog will wear a collar for all visits. Under the terms of the licence, Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding must attach a name tag to the boarding dog's collar, with details of the License Holder and business.

19. The client authorises the signed contract to be valid approval for future services, therefore allowing Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding to accept future bookings without additional signed contracts or authorisation. By signing below you are committing to reading these terms and conditions in their entirety. You, the undersigned, have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of using the services of Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding. You understand that any outstanding fee will be paid to Teeny Tiny Toy Dog Boarding. You confirm that you will be responsible for any costs which might be incurred, either veterinary or other, as a result of any sickness, accident or damage caused to or by the pet named overleaf, excepting third-party liability, and that you will pay such costs on return.

By signing these forms you are agreeing to follow through with this booking and pay any fees due.
